When I Turn To Stone Part II
Originally I wrote this as a
cold, harsh reminder to tell
those still among the living to
embrace those near and dear
while you still can..
As I recall it was:
You can no longer say good-bye
for I am gone.
So do not cry over me
for I am not here.
My ears can no longer hear,
my eyes no longer see,
All that remains of me is a
stone. A permanence of my name.
A marker over my body.
While I was here on Earth
I was so much more than a
stone or a name and this is
how I need you to remember me.
Think of how I touched your life and
the memories that we had together.
Remember my LIFE not my death!
And remind those still alive
how much they mean to you!!!~JWM

An Eternal Mother's Day Card
Mom, I cannot say goodbye
for you are no longer here.
But I do want to thank you.
Thank you for giving me life.
Thank you for teaching me what you
knew and for many wonderful
experiences. I am glad to have
shared in your life with you.
I will miss you more than
words will ever say.
Our last years were most undoubtfully
the best. As we both shared
life on an adult level. I am
happy to have been there for you
and need you to be here with me.
So wherever you are and wherever you
go, please stop by and say "hello".
Lastly I want to thank you for
your strength and the deep conversations
we had and will ask you to guide
me from beyond just as your
dad has been doing for you !!!
So I say I Loved You, Love You, and will
Always Love You Mom.
for you are no longer here.
